When I was a young girl, I was around my grandparents all the time. I even lived with them for a while. All through my childhood, my grandfather would often stop at random places and tell us a story, and usually, this story had a historical fact with it. We also stopped to read the Texas historical markers together all the time.
Idaho has a lot of historical markers of its own! I found out that there is a guidebook on the Idaho State Historical Society website. So next time you are traveling around, take a moment to stop and learn a little bit of local history! Here’s a link to the guidebook!
