Why do we need to preserve our history?
Historic preservation is a conversation with our past about our future. We can teach our future generations what we have learned and help them understand. Sometimes we remember things we are proud of, and sometimes we have moments that are painful or uncomfortable to remember. Through the Historical Society of Middleton and fellow community members such as yourself, we are sure to hold on to our values, our teachings, and our will to learn something new every day.
Our Goals

To preserve and maintain artifacts, to inform the community of their local history through programs and exhibits, and to encourage the preservation of our history for future generations.
Non-profit efforts

We are a non-profit organization and rely on grants and donations. Your contributions are greatly appreciated! We also have many great souvenirs at the Lee Moberly Museum for sale.
If you don’t know history, then you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree.
